How will this Advance project help to address the need?
We have many testimonies on our website that describe how our two devotional books are meeting the needs of the military and first responders. We will continue to provide free distributions as long as funds are available.
Describe the primary goal of the project
To provide Strength for Service devotional books to military men and women and to first responders. Strength for Service to God and Country is written specifically for the military and Strength for Service to God and Community is written specifically for first responders. Over 500,000 copies of Strength for Service to God and Country have been distributed as well as 35,000 copies of Strength for Service to God and Community. Our goal for 2016, is to provide 100,000 devotionals free to these groups through local churches as one way to mark the 15th anniversary of Sept. 11.
Describe the change you would like to see in the community as a result of this Advance project
We would like to see churches from across the U.S. take time to order SFS devotional books for distribution in their parish. First priority would be military or first responders in local churches followed by the immediate community.
