Describe the need affecting community
According to the Millennium Development Goal #7: to ensure environmental sustainability by improving drinking water and sanitation globally, our ministry seeks to address these vital health concerns by providing potable water and sanitation. Vital statistics yield disparities that continue in this country. Access to safe water as well as hygiene needs continues to be problematic. While percentages of access have increased, the overall goal has not yet been achieved, demonstrating the need to continue our work.
How will this Advance project help to address the need?
The team will continue to provide water wells and sanitation throughout Sierra Leone.
Describe the primary goal of the project
The primary goal seeks to improve quality of life for the people of Sierra Leone by provision of potable water, sanitation, health care and education.
